Gharage is the external vision and ventures hub of Gebr. Heinemann, one of the world's leading travel retailers throughout Europe and Asia. They exist to offer an outside-in perspective, challenging convention and cultivating change within the travel retail industry.
Their focus is on the liminal spaces - the spaces between origin and destination. As our world becomes increasingly connected, travel locations present unique opportunities for transformation. Instead of viewing them as spaces built solely for efficiency, producing stress in our brains and bodies, Gharage is envisioning a future where airports foster wellbeing and serve as vibrant and welcoming spaces to those who pass through.
In 2024, Gharage is seeking to position themselves not only as an industry leader, but as a cross-disciplinary connector that bridges the gap between storytelling and action. Their new identity sets the groundwork for future collaborations that will extend throughout the airport ecosystem and beyond.
